Me
I’m Miles, a Network and Information Security Engineer. I have over a decade of experience working with enterprise networks in the Financial sector. I have been fascinated with computers since I was 5 and even more so when my dad described his job as “making computers talk to each other”.
Automation
Since my very first job I’ve had an automation first mindset, there was no task that I couldn’t automate or damn well try to. Today I still push at every opportunity to build infrastructure with that automation mindset. You can often find me on the networktocode slack.
Free time
In my free time I like taking things apart, reverse engineering how things work to see how others have implemented things.
I also enjoy gardening as my plants can’t raise Jira tickets……yet.
Cats
My wife wanted a cat but I am the man of this house so we got two cats.
